Chocolate Ginger, Lemon and Orange – Lemon Peel

Candied lemon peel enrobed in smooth dark chocolate makes for an exciting union of sweet citrus and bitter cocoa taste. These delightful slices are produced in Belgium, capital of chocolate, using traditional methods – and made with love.

Don’t let your kids turn their nose up at this – despite it sounding strange, in reality these lemon sticks are actually delicious. According to The Chocolatier reviewer, they are “tantalisingly soft (almost bordering on jelly in terms of texture), and the zesty, fresh flavour pairs beautifully with the slightly sweet and rich dark chocolate shell.

I’m not normally a fan of lemon and chocolate yet I found this particular combination refreshing and highly addictive.”

It is perfectly safe to eat lemon peel, and even healthy according to some. It contains lots of vitamins, minerals and fibres so don’t be afraid to try it!
