Walnut Tree, we are proud purveyors of the finest luxury edible gifts — crafted with care, packaged with purpose, and rooted in a deep love for exceptional food.
Founded in 1997 by Bev and Nick Crowne, our family-run UK business began with a simple idea: to offer top-quality food gifts, hand-packed in beautiful packaging, at accessible prices.
To achieve this, we travel the globe sourcing the best seasonal ingredients — from sun-dried fruits and hand-roasted nuts to artisan confections. Every gift is then packed by hand in our Hertfordshire facility, using custom-designed packaging that reflects our signature blend of tradition and innovation.
Today, Walnut Tree is both a beloved brand and a trusted supplier. We also white-label for many of the UK’s most prestigious outlets — from luxury department stores and delicatessens to stately homes, hamper companies, garden centres, and even palaces.
By packing everything in-house, we guarantee quality, reliability and flexibility for our customers — while supporting local employment and sustainable practices. In the past year alone, we have reused over 6,000 boxes through our robust recycling programme.
We are proud to serve a diverse range of customers, and offer tailored selections for different dietary needs. With certification from The London Beth Din, we are able to supply kosher gifts and halal gifts with full traceability — as well as clear labelling for our vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free gift boxes.

Beautifully packed luxury goods, difficult to source elsewhere. Unbelievably tasty. Just had another repeat order, excellent in every way. Ideal for a present to someone you care for. The food treats are well presented in delightful packaging. They have just one problem – one treat is not enough, you have to come back for more. Excellent customer service. Have been a satisfied customer for some time now, it’s a real pleasure to deal with the company. My daughter recommended me to this website and she was right to do so!! The Website is easy to use and the products are delicious. There is a good range to choose from, perfect for presents to your best friends – or to yourself! I selected gift wrapping which was a lovely extra touch. Only problem – I had to open all the parcels before I could give them because I couldn’t tell from the outside which one was which. Hope they get this sorted soon! I am definitely a repeat customer.

Efficient and fast customer service when required. Excellent chocolate fruit and nut based edibles, especially the chocolate coated orange slices, marron glacé, pâte de fruit, in fact all I have tasted. Packaging is exorbitantly classy (reusable red bags) like all else in this company.

We try and buy Walnut Tree products every Christmas to put out for all the family to enjoy. Over the years we have tried many different items but our favourites are still the dried fruit and caramelised nut selections, both of which are excellent quality and variety. We have now started buying them at other times of the year as we all enjoy them. Always arrive promptly and very well presented.
