Future Dreams Charity

Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity provides practical and emotional support for those diagnosed with breast cancer, promotes breast health awareness and funds vital secondary breast cancer research. In October 2021 the charity opened Future Dreams House, the UK’s only dedicated breast cancer support centre, in Kings Cross, London. In the first 18 months, more than 1,500 individuals touched by breast cancer from throughout the UK accessed our in-person and online support services. Future Dreams continues to develop its support services in line with need. By 2030 the charity will directly support in excess of 5,000 individuals per annum, and indirectly support thousands more through its online Information Hub, The Future Dreams Magazine and its award winning podcast, And Then Came Breast Cancer, hosted by breast cancer thriver, Victoria Derbyshire.

The charity was founded by Danielle Leslie and her mother, Sylvie Henry when, by some cruel twist of fate, both were diagnosed with breast cancer. They understood how lonely and isolating diagnosis and treatment could be and were adamant that no one should face breast cancer alone. In 2008 they established the charity with the aim of providing practical and emotional support for all those touched by breast cancer, promoting breast health awareness and early detection and funding research into secondary breast cancer. Tragically, Danielle and Sylvie died within a year of each other however, their legacy lives on. Future Dreams is their legacy and, over the past 15 years, has raised millions of pounds in support of the breast cancer community funding support, awareness and research.
